Fields of Study

The Scholar Ship is a new model for international education. While its distinctiveness is compelling, the program must still conform to a certain extent to the mainstream "architecture" of modern higher education systems around the world.

The academic design of The Scholar Ship program is based on a set of learning circles, each providing an innovative learning construct for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Undergraduates pursue their studies by selecting one of five undergraduate learning circles and postgraduate students select one of three postgraduate learning circles.

The following list identifies fields of study commonly associated with our learning circles.

  • Why The Scholar Ship?

“The Scholar Ship promises to be a microcosm of our global age:
a laboratory for global democracy. In seeking to create a truly transnational learning community, with its stress on experiential learning, The Scholar Ship represents a bold experiment in international and global education. Let’s explore this new form of learning and teaching.”
