Programs in Port - English Language Program

In each port, students enrolled in the English language program have one or more course days, which are integrated into the classroom curriculum. Using carefully planned exercises, students explore various aspects of the local culture, while simultaneously developing their language skills through real-life usage. 

During the next segment of the voyage, students report on their experiences while in port, to further develop their oral and written English language skills. 

The cost of the English language program in port is included in the program fee. 

Structure 
The English language program in port usually starts the day after the ship arrives in port and continues for three days, allowing participating students an additional four days to pursue community service projects, shore excursions, and independent exploration in each port region. Voyage staff accompany all formal activities.
